Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Agent, a private operational integration maintained by Rika Goldberg, handles information received through a connection to QuickBooks Online. Agent is used only for authorized accounting and bookkeeping workflows.
Information Agent accesses
After a QuickBooks Online administrator authorizes a connection, Agent may access the QuickBooks Online information needed to perform the requested workflow. This can include company details and accounting records such as customers, vendors, accounts, products or services, invoices, bills, expenses, payments, journal entries, and reports. The exact information depends on the permissions granted and the action requested.
How information is used
Agent uses this information solely to:
- authenticate and maintain the authorized QuickBooks Online connection;
- read information necessary to prepare or carry out a requested workflow; and
- create, update, or otherwise write accounting records when an authorized user requests it.
Agent does not sell QuickBooks Online information, use it for advertising, or share it across unrelated customer accounts.
Storage and security
Connection credentials and tokens are kept only as needed to maintain the authorized integration and are protected using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. QuickBooks Online information is not retained longer than necessary for the operational purpose for which it was accessed, unless retention is required by law or an authorized user directs otherwise.
Sharing
Information is disclosed only to service providers needed to operate Agent, where legally required, or with the authorization of the QuickBooks Online company administrator. Agent does not provide third parties with access to QuickBooks Online information for their independent use.
Your choices
An authorized QuickBooks Online administrator may disconnect Agent at any time from Agent or from QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting revokes Agent’s access to the connected company. Changes
